Don't just do nothing...

As we are all shocked and saddened by the recent earthquake in Haiti and hurting for everyone who is hurting there - remember that we can do something to help even if we are so far away...

There are lots of organizations out there helping right now...

...so do something...

-- Lutheran World Relief, based in Baltimore, Md., is accepting donations for its Haiti earthquake fund. Donations can be made by phone at (800) LWR-LWR2, online at lwr.org, or by mailing a check or money order to Lutheran World Relief Haiti Earthquake Relief, PO Box 17061, Baltimore, Md., 21298-9832.

...no amount is too small...

BE THE CHANGE...

...edited to add - as my sister wisely pointed out - on the website there is a matching gifts button - to see if your employer will match your gift.

  1. hey! good idea! i have contributed - tell everyone to click on the "Match Your Gift" link - i did and found that IBM will match gifts $1 for $1. you do appear to have to mail a check with a form instead of being able to do it online.

    love, k

  3. I'm grateful to know that aid agencies in NA are receiving very generous donations from people to help with the catastrophe in Haiti.

Canadians can donate $5.00 to the Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund by texting Haiti to 45678.

Americans can donate by texting a message with the word 'Haiti' to 52000 for a $10 donation.

Thank you for posting an appeal on your blog. I will add some information to my blog as well.
