...an afternoon game...

...you simply would not believe the weather here...after bouts of rain and sleet and even snow in the past couple of weeks...we now have absolutely gorgeous sunny 70° (21° C) weather...
...and what better way to enjoy it than at a baseball game...the game got off to a late start...but we sat in the pleasant sunshine and watched them paint the field as the teams warmed up...
...then a young boy threw out the first pitch...
...we had traditional ball park snacks...
...the game was a close one...
...just knitting a 'scrubby' dishcloth out of some scratchy acrylic from the stash (that I don't even have to look at so I can still pay attention to the game)...I didn't notice any other knitters in the ball park...
...and it came down to extra innings...so exciting...the home team won with a home run in the bottom of the eleventh...

...do you enjoy baseball games?...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. I had an interesting morning at Goring-on-Sea where an artist has painted an exact copy of the Sistine Chapel on the ceiling of the local Catholic Church.

It is truly wonderful, and the sun shone after our cold Spring weather, though not quite as warm as you.
