...Spring Garden Bounty...

...once again...and thankfully...we are the recipients of our friends' and neighbors' garden bounty...
...we got a bunch of spring onions...
...so of course...I cleaned those right up and put them in the foreman grill...

...my first time cooking spring onions on the grill...so I knew y'all would want to see the results...
...perfectly grilled onions...
...and so...so delicious...onions just add so much flavor...

...what's growing in your garden this spring?

  1. Produce, or really food, is always a nice gift.

This is the first year in, oh, a decade or so that we don't have a spring garden. We're reconfiguring our garden space--making the garden bigger overall while making each individual bed narrower and easier to manage. But it rained and rained and rained and really slowed up our progress. Finishing this weekend though. It's been strange, but also quite relaxing.

    1. I just wish that we had a sunny spot for a garden...our yard has lovely big shade trees in the back...and we can't very well plough up the front yard for a garden...so we're really lucky that we have friends with gardens...

Very best wishes with your garden...I'm looking forward to seeing it on your blog...

  2. so nice of folks to share with you. no garden...our garden spot has grown shady over the years also. it only gets sun about 1/2 the time and most veggies just need full sun to thrive. love, k

  4. My dog is a 'digger' so anything grown has to be in pots. I bought some 'growing' Chinese spinach which is planted, some chard seeds which have come up and courgettes which haven't and some lettuce seeds which came on a strip!
