...Come on Retreat with me...Fun and Games...

...You can see that the schedule at camp is pretty well packed...

...there were countless games of dodgeball played...

...and I do mean countless - every time they had free time - they gathered in the gym and pelted each other with foam balls...

...there were outside games as well...

...what's in those leaves....

...oh - it's just Scout - they had swept up the leaves in the entryway and were determined to hide in them and then jump out and scare the first person to come outside...

...Scout was not alone in his mischief...

...there were hoop games...

...and puzzles...

...of course meals are FUN at camp too - we start with the Jaws prayer - da...dum...da..dum...da.dum...dadum...dadum...dadum...

...a really AWESOME Bible study on the Matthew - You are the light of the world chapter...

...a craft project - a stained glass cross - made of wax paper and tissue paper and mod podge - that brings back such fond memories...

...a scavenger hunt - a pop (that's Coke to you Southerners) was the Grand Prize...

...looking for a heart shaped rock...

...at the very end - everyone had found everything except a feather...and Scout being the young genius that he is was the first one to think of looking in a bird house - so he won the Pop!...

...and then there was the great Carpet Ball Tournament!...

  2. My Nipper would love to play in those leaves. There's a really big pile on the way to school and he has a good old run through them on the way to school and all over again on the way home!
