...Come to Omaha with me...the Bridge To Nowhere...

It's actually called the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge - and affectionately called the Bridge to Nowhere because it crosses the Missour River into Iowa - but there's not really anything on that side of the river...and we went there after our SAS tour...

...it was a sort of overcast day (Scout's favorite kind)...

...it was a little bit windy - and the bridge was vibrating quite a bit...

...very nice river views...

...and Scout had fun hopping back and forth between the states...

...when we got to the Iowa side...

...we were greeted by these motor bikers and they put on quite the show...

  1. Oh--I positively love the "state hopping" your boy did. That's fabulous. Whenever we go road tripping we try to take pictures of the state line signs--but that bridge is so much more cool. I'd love to go there.
    Thanks!

  2. Not too far from that Nowhere in Iowa is my hubby's hometown! Fun to see your views of Omaha. We've been there a few times ourselves!

  3. We have a bridge like that here, crossing the Arkansas River - we love it. You'll have to hop down and visit it someday!
