...North Star Boys Choir...

...the North Star Boys Choir gave a concert at our church...

...we had ordered a catered meal for them...but with the power outage the restaurant was closed and we had to improvise with a spaghetti supper...the boys didn't seem to mind

...it was such a nice break from all the power outage madness...they really have a lot of 'energy'...HA!

...but they marched in solemnly singing...

...the choir boy uniforms were my favorite...

...but they changed and did a 'Barber Shop' rendition of O When the Saints - see video below...

...then they changed again into more formal attire...

...really beautiful music...

...they will be competing today at the World Choir Games Competition and we wish them all the best!...

~Have a lovely day!

  2. The boys received a standing ovation from the audience and from a couple of the judges, so says Francis, the Artistic Conductor of the North Star Boys' Choir. The sang barbershop today and will sing in the Children's category tomorrow. If you would like to see pictures and video of the boys, go to https://www.facebook.com/northstarboyschoir

Thank you so much for hosting our sons.

  3. I currently have a son in the choir, left yesterday on tour for Germany. Looking for their current trip blog I discovered your blog. I want to thank you for your pictures. My oldest son was on this trip to the World Choir games and I love seeing the pictures of him and his friends from this trip!
