...Merit Badge College...

...sorry to leave you with a picture of the toilet...just so so busy...
...today's post comes to you from right here...
...we're here...
...for this...
...it started (as they all do) with a group meeting...to go over the wherefores and how tos...
...the community college had a bunch of beautiful quilts decorating the student union...so I'll share just a couple with you...
...they were all gorgeous...
...after the initial meeting...the boys headed off to their classes...
...Scout's first class was Citizenship in the World...seen here...
...we had passed a drive through car wash on our way into town...so I stopped and got in line to get my car washed...the line was so long that I had time to completely detail the inside while I waited...good thing I had window cleaner and paper towels in the trunk...

...it was kinda funny...every 8 minutes or so I'd have to pull forward one carlength...but it was such a good use of an hour...and before it was even my turn I had everything on the inside spic and span...so then I just knitted...of course I came prepared for plenty of knitting time...
...I love automatic car washes...
...and I thought this sign was hilarious...
...pretty soon I was at the rinse cycle...and my car was shiny and clean...

...Scout and I met for lunch...I'll tell you all about that Monday...and all of my travels while he was in class...
...his afternoon class was Personal Management...he had done most of the work for this one last summer when he was earning regular 'wages' mowing the yard...HA!

~Have a lovely day!

You do sound busy but I got a kick out of your great time management skills at the car wash, even having time to knit!

  3. :)

i did chuckle about the toilet.
and the danger sign in the car wash.

i should remember that about having towels and cleaner - my car needs to go through the wash, and i bet maddie and isaac and i could get the inside pretty clean in the time it takes to go through the wash!

  5. Such good things the boys, or rather young men, do. I am always so impressed.

I too love car washes, they are so exciting and so 'thorough'. In the spring we need to do the one that cleans underneath because of the salt on the roads.
