...we've been eating a lot of corn on the cob lately...so sweet and so good...
...and we like it really slathered in butter...(Earth Balance)...
...and when I did this in front of company the other day...they exclaimed that they'd never seen corn buttered this way...so I thought I'd share...
...I get out my handy-dandy little corn trays...and spread a generous amount of Earth Balance in the bottom of the dish...
...then I dry the freshly boiled corn in a scrupulously clean kitchen towel...(Julia quote)...
...then I put the hot corn in the dish and give it a little spin...
...as it turns it melts the butter and coats the corn...
...so there you have it...perfectly buttered corn...

Those dishes are the cutest! I have never seen corn dishes! We had the corn holders growing up, but it was incomplete w/o those adorable dishes! :-)
