...Jack in the Box...

...we had this huge box left over from our Quilt Packing Party last night...

...I actually brought it home to save it for the LYO to use as one of their props for the play they'll be presenting on Mother's Day...

...but I was sweetly reminded of how much Scout loved to play in boxes when he was little...

...of course...he's not little anymore and it's been a few years since he would fit into the clothes bin - another of his favorite places to play...

...still in his karate uniform (Gi)...he and 'Jack' and a little fun 'In the Box'...

  1. how sweet!! yeah, i remember playing in boxes too! good, clean, cheap fun....plus, when they're crushed, you can slide down the hill in the mud (down from daddy's gun-shooting table) like i did with michelle weisheit (now ratliff) - i think you might have been too "grown up" to join us back then!!

    love, k

  2. Boxes, much more fun than anything that ever came in them! My daughter has cats who love boxes. One of them has a favourite box where he keeps 'his' toy mouse and guards it!
