Webelos Den

We had our first Den Meeting and our focus this month is Citizenship - all 12 (YES 12) of my scouts should have earned their Citizenship badge by the end of the month.

I set up 4 stations and divided the boys into groups of 3. One of our Dads is an Army guy and he taught the boys how to do a flag ceremony.

I manned the Hoist the Flag station - I rigged a pully up to hook that used to hold a big projector screen. And another Dad helped with the Fold a Flag station - and one of the Moms helped at the Citizenship Logbook station.

It's not a really exciting badge to earn but I think the boys had fun.




For our "Good Turn" the boys all went outside and picked up trash around the block.
