...Pieces of Eight (right - I think)...Final...

...yesterday...I showed you the nice neat right side of the mitt...
...but this is the nasty underside that I still had to deal with...
...but...that's what I get for changing colours every other row for a neat rainbow effect...lots of ends to weave in...

...but I did it...and now this is the nice neat underside...ready for garter stitch kitchener...
...I absolutely LOVE the kitchener stitch...
...absolutely perfect invisible seams...
...this is the right hand mitt...I think...I don't suppose that it really matters which way the figure turns...and the second mitt is turned inside out at one point to switch the swirl...pretty ingenious...
...it is kinda sad that the prettiest side winds up inside and down most of the time...
...this will be the view of the mitt with arms at the side...now on the left mitt...

    I knitted my son a thick, chunky - really - long scarf and I'm knitting him a chunky sweater. He is in Etampes near Paris and he thinks the knew knitteds will make him look cool!
