...Now that things are beginning to get back on a regular schedule around here...maybe I'll get back in the habit of at least doing a weekly Julia Child recipe over at The Vegan Version...
...this week...right in the middle of summer...we made what Julia describes as a nice winter vegetable...ENDIVES À LA FLAMANDE
...and they were very good...rather a long cooking time (again) I thought...but delicious nevertheless...

I adore endive and in the spring if I am in france I can buy a kilo bad for so little. I cut out the bitter core, steam them and then fry them. Or I put them in béchamel sauce but I just love les endives!
