...Thrifty Thursday...
...this was such a perfect 'find'...because it was exactly what we needed...and it cost $1...
...this multi-size pan lid...here's a similar one at Amazon...
...we have a supersized Lodge cast iron pan...we use it a lot for cooking fried squash...because we cook a lot of it and you have to be able to get your turner in there and scoop it up and over...it's not so easy in a smaller pan...
...and the squash cooks better and faster with a little steaming action under the lid...
...but we didn't have a lid for it...and now we do...

That is a handy thing to have for those big iron pans. Also handy is a big splatter screen. Do you have one of those?? Especially good for food you don't want to steam, just fry crispy. MOM
