...the very last Christmas Parade...

...Saturday was Scout's final Christmas Parade...
...we got there early...the police had just blocked the road...
...so we parked and walked up the street...there was already quite a crowd waiting for the parade to start...
...just your typical small town Christmas Parade...with firetrucks...
...floats...
...and lots and lots of old cars...
...and then finally the main attraction...not Santa...the Band...
...their regular uniforms...and blue Santa hats...
...and a couple of video clips...
~Have a lovely day!

  2. We have lots of events running up to Christmas, the turning on of the lights and fireworks, Christmas markets and a charity Father Christmas who goes around the streets and is very jolly and much looked forward to. When he came to our door I said to Ian that Liberty (five year old) was waiting across the road. Father Christmas went over and addressed her by name, she was just amazed. Such fun.
