...New Mexico Visit...Day THREE...

...we had brought our picnic blanket to use as a floor covering and a bunch of our Airman's old cups, spoons and stacking toys...and the Airman's Baby spent so much time playing with them...
...You've seen almost this same photo before...from my quick trip back in February...where we went up to Sandia Crest in the snow...
...almost 30° of temperature difference between the photo above and this one...100°F (37.7778° C) down to 72° (22.2222° C)...it was amazingly refreshing...
...it looks like it's raining off in the distance...but Our Airman says that it often just rains into the air and evaporates before it touches the ground...and it snows that way in the wintertime too...
...the Airman's Baby doesn't quite know what to think of the cool wind...
...beautiful vistas...
...all the girls...
...these are the same towers we can see on top of the ridge from the back deck...
...when we got back to the house...this bunny was sleeping in the driveway...in the shade of course...
...time for dinner...the Man made his delicious marinara sauce for us...
...after dinner when things had cooled down a bit...we went outside to use up some fireworks the kiddos had saved...just sparklers and smoke bombs...baby friendly things...
...she still seems a little uncertain...maybe just tired though...
...she liked the smoke bombs better than the sparklers...
...and she loved the fluff from the little poppers...

~Have a lovely day!

  3. Beautiful scenery and visit. You look very relaxed. It's interesting about how the rain and snow evaporate before hitting the ground.
