...New Mexico Visit...Day FOUR...

...an early morning sleepy-headed selfie with the Airman's Baby...the camera is reversed so we can see the baby in the phone...she loved doing that ...babies love to see babies...I remember when the Airman was very little and just learning to talk...he said the word Baby as "Bayhie"...and anytime we got the camera out and he saw it...he would run over to the camera and start saying "Bayhie"...because he wanted to see the baby on the screen...so many of our little snipets of video of him as a new toddler have this scenario played out...so we tried to film around corners...haha...
...just a few photos of her cuteness...
...she is teething...and in her mouth is a Gerber toddler spoon that belonged to her Daddy...
...she absolutely loved it...it must be just the right size for her sore little gums...
...anyhoo..it's an absolutely gorgeous 101° F day...(38.3333555556° C)...
...so we headed downtown...
...to a nice (mostly) deserted riverwalk park...for a contact-less walk to the river...
...there were some interesting metal sculptures...
... and artwork...
...we wore our masks...but didn't encounter anyone close up...we saw a couple of park employees (also masked)...
...we crossed this gorgeous (deserted) bike path...
...and headed down a trail to the river...
...it was nice and shady...but still terribly hot...
...a cheerful Airman's Baby in her shady ride...
...we took a little path over to the edge of the river...
...this is my first time seeing this river in person...the Rio Grande...
...I'm pretty impressed...
...when we got home...we played in the spigot on the back deck...
...the Airman's Baby loves to play in any water she can find...
...then we played with some more fireworks...this one surprised us with some loud pops at the end...
...we went for a walk around the neighborhood...and I snapped a photo of the kiddos...under (or in) a tree...
...it's so pretty here...
...making s'mores around the fire pit...
...watching another gorgeous sunset...
...time for bed...

~Have a lovely day!

  3. It is so pretty there where you and hot. That heat is like where my family lived after I was nearly out the door. I cannot handle that kind of heat though I do love the desert's beauty. The little one is so cute and it's precious that you have saved your son's teething spoon for her. You sound like you really love the area where you are visiting and I won't be surprised if another move is in the future for you. Enjoy and stay safe.
