...we're back home...and so I jumped right in to a small project...this is all I can show you for now...haha...
...but I can show you the finished dish towel...this is the waffle-y side...
...and this is the smoother side...I think it's prettier...
...I updated the blog header...with the winter banner...if you're reading this in a reader you don't see it though...
...we had to do a quick grocery shop...
...nothing unusual...
...a nice parishioner brought us a bag of delicious apples...love those...
...and I got this bag of "allergen free" chocolate chips...
...they just happen to be vegan...
...and they only have a few ingredients..
...I keep my chocolate chips in a glass jar in the cupboard...and I make a 'label' from the package the chips come in...I just cut it up and tape it to the jar...
...that's not the only thing I store this way...it keeps them nice and fresh and makes it easy to find them on the shelf...
...I like to reuse glass jars this way too...sometimes as I rinse a jar to put it in the recycling...I think...hey...that would be good for storing xxxxxx....
...and the bulb in the oven birned out...and when I unscrewed it...it came out of it's little metal...
...so that sharpish piece of metal remained in the socket...
...that was annoying...but I got some needle nosed pliers...and managed to unscrew that bit...
...put in the new bulb...
...and popped on the cover...
...and we were back in business...
...and then I froze all of those bananas...
...what's in your workbasket this week?...

That's a neat way to store stuff in the jars. And I'm glad to see that the chocolate chips are vegan - always nice when that happens. I hate it when a bulb breaks off like that - I'm always scared I'll get shocked when I remove the remains! And I HATE getting shocked. Love, K
