...1.14...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...as you might guess...there's still not a lot of productive anything going on chez affectioknit...

...Christmas decorations are still up outside and in...but hopefully by the weekend we'll at least be able to tackle the really visible ones outside...haha...
...but I don't think I ever showed you Mom's little Christmas present...just a standard dishcloth in a Christmas coloured plaid...
...and a super neat little diagonal potholder...you just single crochet in the round...
...and then flatten it down upon itself and it makes a perfect little diamond...
...it's double-thick cotton...
...and put a little loop for hanging it up...
...it's a handy size...
...and it makes a cute Christmas set...
...and I have made a start on Our Airman's Wife's birthday pillow though...I'd gotten this sweater in the freebie bin as it's unsellable in it's current condition...

...it's super cute and I could probably 'fix' it up enough to wear it...and it's just my style too...
...it's covered in odd blue nappies though...
...and it has a couple of holes...
...worn places...
...and picks...so I'm guessing it was a well loved well worn little sweater...
...but it became the perfect green yarn for the grass area of the pattern...
...so I did a couple of swatches to make sure it would be square...
...and I've done the first couple of rows...most of the grass is done and I've started the deck...and I've got to get going on it quickly now...or I'll have no chance to get it finished and in the mail in time to get to Alaska before her birthday...

...what's in your workbasket this week?...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. Nice that you can just reuse yarn…I never thought of that until you did it. Love, K
