...6.29...Tuesday with Sissie...

...my sweet sissie had let us know over the weekend that she'd be able to come for a visit...so I did the tinyest amount of prep before she came...I made the ingredients for a big pasta salad...
...and my favorite Tunisian bread...because I was determined to get the oil and balsamic out for her visit that I forgot when Mom was here earlier...haha...
...bread rising...
...and I took it out of the oven right as she walked in the door...
...and then I just added a fresh cucumber and some bottled Italian dressing and the salad was done...
...and I was really bad about taking photos...this one of us sitting down to eat dinner is the only one I took...because I was too busy talking apparently...I think maybe sissie will post some on her blog...McCraw Sails...as we really just spent all of our time together talking...just meandering through random topics...the way you do with people you know so well...
...and this is my plate of vegan deliciousness...sissie brought the asparagus...and the Man grilled the tofu...it was as delicious as the company...

...and then breakfast this morning was some blueberry muffins and fresh blueberries...and coffee...

...so glad to see my sissie...

~Have a lovely day!

ps...I may come back later and do a Julia post...we'll see...

  2. This look like a very joyful moment!
It's been ages since a baked bread like that.
Must make some after this heat wave.
