...6.4...Frugal Friday...

...y'all have seen this box ottoman before...I got it for the Man's birthday to support his injured knee...
...and here's Big Sister playing it it...

...we had it in the den for a while...but the Man spends a lot of time in his office so he moved it in there...and so we were always toting it back and forth...
...so...I decided to spend about 10 minutes and use some things that we already had on hand to make another one for the den...

...that's the bottom of a rather sturdy foam cooler (you can sit on it) that someone had sent us at Christmas with dry ice and edibles...and it's the perfect height and shape for an ottoman...and the foam pad is one of a pair my sweet sissie sent me years ago to cushion my bum on the bleachers at all of Our Airman's football games...I was only there 'til half-time...you know...once the band was done...I was pretty much done...haha...and the cloth is leftover from when I re-covered the cushion of my favorite big comfy chair...
...so I turned the cooler upside down...and left the bottom open...I'm going to stuff the extra material in there...and I put the foam pad on the bottom of the cooler...which will be the top when it's turned right side up...
...and centered and smoothed the cloth over that...
...and then I just gathered up the four corners and tied to snug knots...
...and tucked those up inside the cooler...
...and ta-daaa...a totally free ottoman...and I'm totally happy with how that little frugal project turned out...and happy that we're not ferrying ottomans back and forth between rooms anymore...

~Have a lovely day!
