...2.15...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...the Carnaby Street pullover is coming along nicely...
...the goal is just one stripe per day...the colour change is a bit fiddly...but it's really just plain stockinette...and I'm loving the bamboo yarns...so soft and drape-y...they are bad to split though...and the marigold Bamboozled is worse than the orange...
...and I've also darned FOUR of my cotton socks...just using a combination of white and grey sewing thread...
...and making the typical cross-hatch of stitches over the hole...
...it's almost invisible...
...I seem to be sprouting holes in all the socks in exactly the same position...

...what's in your workbasket this week?...

~Have a lovely day!

  3. Excellent darning, Teresa! As usual I am terribly impressed with your knitting, too! That sweater is going to be so colorful and cozy!

I just returned from a four day sewing retreat with my mom, my aunt, Matt's mom, and some of her friends from church. It was a marathon sewing party! It was a wonderful way to spend time together. I finished three (really cool, if I do say so myself) button-down, collared shirts for Matt. It was very fun. I'm sure I'll do a post about them over on my blog.
