...More from last weekend...

...so far behind with these posts...one more here and one on the Vegan Version and I'll be all caught up...

...The Newsboys...along with The City Harmonic, Anthem Lights, and Abandon, were scheduled to play at the Keith Albee Theatre (more on that later...probably a lot more)...

...and I (anyway) was kinda surprised to see the line as we walked up...we had parked two Church vans full of kids about 2 blocks away...

...the line went all the way down the block...

...and snaked around and down another block...amazing...

...as we were taking our seats...the crew was still setting up on stage...they were a little bit late getting started...

...and then the concert got underway...

...and just like at every rock concert I've ever been to everyone stands up...so you have to stand up to be able to see...and then you spend the entire concert standing up...

...but that's OK...everyone was singing and shouting...and it was really loud...

...the boys decided to see what the concert was like from the furtherest seat in the theatre...still pretty awesome...can you see Scout's shirt...he brought his wallet so he could buy a souvenir...and of all the shirts he could have picked for all the bands...he chose this simple black "I am second" shirt...if you've not seen or heard of I am second...check it out...pretty inspiring stuff there...

...the Newsboys did this crazy 'turn the drummer upside down trick'...did I mention that it was loud...my ears may still be ringing...

...but it was awesome fun...

...Have you ever been to a Christian Rock concert?...
