...State of Emergency...

...this was yesterday's headline...
...and this is my laundry room floor...

...Scout got another day off from school...so far since before Christmas...he's been to school a day and a half...

...we can't even touch the tap water...so no showers...no dishes...no laundry...it's pretty scary stuff...

...According to a news release, the leaked product is 4-Methylcyclohexane Methanol, which is used in the froth flotation process of coal washing and preparation....see...pretty scary stuff...symptoms of exposure include: severe burning in throat, severe eye irritation, non-stop vomiting, trouble breathing or severe skin irritation such as skin blistering...

...we're hoping things get back to normal soon...so worried about all the wildlife affected by this spill too...

...wishing you a lovely weekend anyway...

  2. How frightening, water that most basic of needs. Clearly very widespread, lets hope it is soon sorted out.

So, clothes turned inside out and worn for a second week - hair in a wartime turban and who's next to use the damp washcloth!
