...Mother's Day Highlights...

I had a wonderful Mother's Day...and I hope you did too!

...it started with the 'surprise' of flowers being delivered on Friday...I say surprise because after this many years...I'd probably be more surprised if I didn't get flowers...ha!

...so I opened them up and put them in a pretty vase...and now they're perfuming that whole end of the house...you can smell them as soon as you come up the stairs...

...then on Mother's Day morning I was served breakfast in bed...this year...I didn't actually eat it there though...as eating in bed just doesn't blow my hair back...

...breakfast in bed is kinda tradition in our family...we always served my Mom breakfast in bed on Mother's Day...not really sure where we got the idea...some tv program or other probably...we have some old photos of Mom having her breakfast in bed...I'll have to dig some of those up...

...and then for dinner...we went to my favorite Mexican Restaurant...I'm sure you probably guessed that though...sorry I didn't take a photo of my meal...which was awesome as always...but the server gave me this red rose for Mother's Day...so that was really special too...
