...people had hardly caught their breath from Florence...
...and yesterday hurricane Michael blew up the coast and through our neighborhood...
...no real damage here...a lot of branches down...and one huge tree over at the Church was split and broken...I'm sure it will have to be cut down as it can't possibly survive...
...and we were without power most of the day...
...and finally as it started to get dark...after the storm was over really...we set up the generator so we could cook some dinner and turn the fridge and freezer back on...
...and then right as it got dark the power came back on...so we needn't have bothered with the generator...oh well...but we still have neighbors without power...
...hoping hurricane Michael left you alone...
~Have a lovely day!

Thank God you weathered the storm. Some towns in Florida were decimated.
ReplyDeleteHi Penny,
Delete...yes...tragic...hopefully the storm season will end without another landfall...

Glad the storm was mostly kind to NC. We lost power in Oriental for just several hours also....but since our boat is pretty self sufficient with 12V power we hardly noticed! Lots of wind here but we had almost no rain at the coast. Pretty weekend now! Love, K
ReplyDeleteGlad the storm didn't impact on you terribly, we are having terrible weather in Wales too
