...Over the Weekend...

...y'all already know that over the weekend we went up to the mountains for a family funeral...
...but before we left...I had found another baby pattern I wanted to make...it's the oh-so-sweet Baby Harriet

...and this super soft cream coloured cotton yarn...

...just in my stash...and I'm pretty sure that it was in a bag of yarn that my Mom gave me years ago...pretty sure it's just Sugar and Cream cotton...
...so I split it apart...as I've been doing a lot lately...it makes a perfect baby yarn...

...and then we got the news that my stepfather had passed away...

...and I wanted to take it with me in the car...so I rushed around trying to find my size 7 circular needles...but to no avail...
...so I quickly looked over the pattern and jotted down some instructions for knitting the pattern on two needles...
...got my size 7 straight needles out...and we packed up and left for the mountains...

...and since I was in the car...and not driving...
...I got quite a bit of knitting done...the back is almost finished...

~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!

  2. I'm baby knitting tiny, tiny cardigans. It looks like my grand babies will be here very early, we are all ready to rush to Paris to be support and to greet the new members of the family. Fortunately they will be born in a specialist hospital with a large department dedicated to early babies and being France the medical care is the best in the world and for this I am so very grateful. Clementine was in hospital for a few days last week and the medical staff were all caring and dedicated. We now wait and yearn for the babies to stay inside for another four weeks.
