...11.4.19...over the weekend...

...if y'all saw yesterday's post...you know that my sweet sissie was here over the weekend...and that because of my shingles shot...I was not the best hostess...and I was also not the best blogger...but I did start out trying to take photos for the blog...we had grilled sausages for dinner...these tofurkey ones...
...and the Man had the idea of cooking them first in the oven in beer...they were really good...we had them with the traditional sides...potatoes, baked beans, and buns...
...we had brekkie with sissie and hubby before they left to drive up to the mountains for a Mom visit...and she brought this delicious pumpkin bread...made with one of my brother and SIL's candy roasters...
...just a little bit after they left...The Airman's other grandma arrived for a visit...here she is holding her firstborn great-grandchild for the very first time...
...we had a houseful of family for dinner...and since we don't know if Our Airman will be able to come home for Thanksgiving...it was a Thanksgiving themed meal...
...my vegan plate...Grandmaw's creamed corn, sweet potatoes baked and topped with Dandies vegan marshmallows, dressing, cranberry sauce, green beans, and a chick patty...these are the Aldi ones...everything was delicious...
...and then we spent some time enjoying The Airman's Baby...she's an active little girl for sure...did you catch a glimpse of the little pink booties...
...here's a slightly better photo...they're still a little too big for her...I sure didn't think that when I made them...I thought they were so soooo tiny...

~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!

  1. Good idea to have Thanksgiving early so everyone can partake. I did notice the little booties. They look very cute on your even cuter grand daughter.
