...5.6...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...progress on the Sonora Cacti Socks continues...
...I'm at the toe now...
...but I'm going to stop here and go back to the heel...this is the waste yarn for the afterthought heel... have to pick that out...which seems a little bit tedious to me...I think I'd rather just knit the sock as I go...but I'm up for trying something new...
...and Kitten is thrilled to find a project neglected on the can tell by the look in her eyes that I got here just in time to save my sock...haha...

...what's in your workbasket?...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. Those are some crazy cool socks! Love, K

  2. I'm learning German short rows on a pair of basic wool socks. Not going well but I will end up with heels at some point. I do toe up 2 at a time magic loop socks.

    1. Hi Patricia,
...that sounds like an interesting technique...I can't wait to see your finished socks...
      ~Have a lovely day!

  3. Love the cactus socks!

I'm sewing baby sun hats, I bought two French baby sewing books and the pattern is in there. Also knitting a cardigan for next winter!

I bought both the baby books from Amazon.

  4. love your colorful socks and I'm impressed with three colors going on! I haven't done a sock with color changes within a row....yet!
