...we started out weekend with pancakes...so yummy...
...picked up the groceries...
...nothing at all of note...the email said we did not get pineapple...but obviously we did...haha...
...I made another half loaf of French bread in the bread machine...
...it's so delicious...and the 1 lb. loaf is just enough for a week...it's vegan...just flour...water...and yeast...and a little bit of salt...it always amazes me how these few ingredients can come together to make something so wonderful...
...I chatted with Mom for about 1 1/2 hours...and this photo is for her...because I mentioned that the Man had made a delicious tofu/mushroom stew for dinner...so no recipe...just one of his creations...I know there's wine...onion...celery carrot and mushrooms...I can detect thyme and bay leaf as well...not sure about anything else though...
...and I did quite a bit of knitting...
...I made all of the 'components' of the little ball ( Oh Balls! is the pattern) for my little niece...Mom is coming for a visit and she's going to the 2 year old's birthday party...and she'll take my little pressie with her...
...so ...you make these six little panels and then stitch them together...they look like little bananas right now...but I've got to get them all stitched up and stuffed...
...and I did all of those first of the month tasks...I can't believe it's April...

DeleteHello, thank you for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI did a few knitted balls for our youngest son's cat. She loves them and they were really fun to make.
God bless.

ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
Delete...you're right...and it takes such a little bit for each of the six little panels that make up the ball...I've already made another one for my little grandbaby...in beachball colours this time...
