...y'all know we used to live in Colubmia, South Carolina...and whenever we pass through Columbia I always want to stop at the little Health Food Store I used to frequent when we lived there...
...after my SDA store closed down in Asheville...I think it's all the more important to support the small businesses...
...anywhoo...they had Earth Balance buy one get one free...so of course I took advantage of that...I'll just put them in the freezer until I need them...
...and I'd been looking for some organic rye flour in all the grocery stores and had been unable to find any...so I was happy to get a bag of that...
...and a couple of new things to try...
...Califia Better Half...and Ripple Protein Milk...I'll let you know how they are...
...and look at that sweet little wooden honee dipper for my Bee Free Honee...
...this sweet card and tea were in the huge packet of mail that got delivered after our vacation...it's from my dear friend Elizabeth...she blogs at Bits of Sunshine...she and I have been internet friends for years...and I've been so blessed by her friendship...
...and we were also greeted with a little bit of storm damage...
...they had some bad storms roll through the area while we were away...and a big limb fell across Jack's fence...
...we moved it...it was heavy...and we think that only the one bar across the top will have to be replaced...and then the rest of the fence should spring back into place...
...happily...it doesn't affect Jack's ability to use the back yard...
...we're actually having a couple of crisp early fall days...so the Pumpkin Pecan tea that Elizabeth sent sounds perfect...and I brewed a cup...
...to have with Brinner...for some reason breakfast for dinner sounded good for our first meal back...I ate half my waffle and most of my grits before I took the photo...
~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!
...PS...I should have said that the Ripple was delicious in the tea...
