...I got some locally grown NC cabbages...to make sauerkraut with...of course...
...weighed them...because the recipe is by weight...and it's really really simple...1 tsp kosher salt for each pound of cabbage...
...it's a messy job...but it's all done now...
...and I steamed the leftover outer leaves for a nice afternoon snack...
...then I straightened the kitchen drawers...getting rid of some old worn out towels and making room for the new ones I got for Christmas...
...and while I was at it...I re-alphabetized the spice drawer...I don't know who is putting the spices back out of order...but I can guess...
...AND...finally...Scout got his dates for Basic...April 23rd...and the kiddos set a WEDDING DATE!!!...March 2nd...and they picked out their invitations...
