...Alabama Day Four...

...there was some of this...
...followed by some of this...
...but the highlight of the day was heading to the Service Center...
...to join the crowd...
...and it was really quite a crowd...
...for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony...
...there was a ceremony honoring a WWII veteran...he's 99 years old...that was sweetly amazing...he just smiled and waved...and everyone cheered...
...there were lots of songs by different choirs...and another award ceremony for the best decorated ornaments that the base school children made for the tree...
...and then finally with much fanfare the tree was lit...
...and then all the suspense as lights and sirens appeared in the distance...
...and guess who popped out of the firetruck...you're right...it was Santa Claus...
