...more fun with homemade tortillas...

...y'all remember those cute little tortilla shaping pans my Mom gave me for my birthday...
...we put them to use with the homemade tortillas...we just smooshed a tortilla into the pan...
...and baked it for a few minutes...I'd say about 8-10...
...and this is what pops out of the pan...a perfectly shaped...free standing shell...
...that you can fill with whatever you want...
...we filled ours with salad and seasoned black beans...for a fun and yummy dinner...Thanks Mom!

~Wishing you a lovely weekend...

  1. They look good, and I love the shapes. In the early 1970s when I lived in New Zealand they make cases with bread. Spread fat onto the bread and push it into muffin tins and then into the oven until they are crisp. The New Zealanders put savoury fillings into the crispy bread shapes.

  2. Glad they were useful. I like a taco salad in a shell, too. MOM
