...remember a couple of weeks ago when I showed you this sweet little onsie that the Man had gotten for the grandbaby...
...well...I wanted to make a little tutu kind of a skirt for her to wear over the onsie...and I thought this ruffly Sashay yarn would be perfect for that...and it's pink...
...so for the little waistband...I cut the yarn in two...as it was too thick as it was...and I thought it would be better without the silver edge...so I used the other plain half...
...and then just did a little single crochet loop...sandwiching a row of double crochet in the middle...
...I'll add some elastic or a ribbon tie later...
...then I just did a single crochet through the top loops of the Sashay...
...into the bottom sc of the little waistband...
...it makes a neat row on the underside...
...then...I think you can see it pretty clearly here...on the subsequent rounds...I just went down about an inch on each of the ruffles...and single crocheted the same way...but into the ruffle above...and I did three tiers of ruffles...
...I think it turned out pretty cute...
...and girly...and frilly...
