...well...I'll sort of show you what we had for dinner...because for some reason...I didn't take a photo of the finished dinner...oh well...
...I made some snack-y bits...pita and black olives...
...and I cooked some fresh spinach...
...it wilts down a lot...
...and in the end you don't have a lot of spinach...
...I baked some vegan meatballs in some of the Man's delicious spaghetti sauce...
...but I did not take a photo of the meal...which included a proper salad...and some garlic bread...I'm sure you can imagine it though...
...and I made a double batch of the Adonis Cake...and baked it in my prettiest bundt pan...
...and I made the tofu chocolate frosting...
...and filled up the center of the cake and topped it with a #1 candle...because the Airman's Baby is almost ONE...
...so after dinner...we sang happy birthday and lit the candle...
...and then we cut the cake and added some more frosting...
...and then...instead of a movie...we did this...
...and this...it's actually a sippy cup...not a bottle...
...later...we ate some graham crackers...
...we went out into the backyard to watch Jack...and play with the flowers...
...and after a little accident (and no fresh clothes)...we dug out one of her Daddy's old onsies...so CUTE!...
...but...what have you been watching lately?...
~Have a lovely weekend!

Such a sweetie pie. The cake you baked for her looks delicious. Have fun during her visit.
ReplyDeleteHey - looks like the fun continues! We're still watching Doc Martin - a few episodes each night. Duane continues to complain that it's a soap opera and I think plays solitaire on his ipad during the show! Love, K
