...2.11...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...like last week...I'm updating some of my gym gear...

...I've had this exercise bra for a while...but I almost never wear it...

...it's got a neat racer-back...and it's plenty comfortable once I get it on...but pulling it on over my head and wriggling it down and positioning it is just a pain...and pulling it off over my head...almost as much so...

...so I thought if it just opened in the front it would be a lot more wearable...so I pinned the front pieces so that the layers would stay in place...and then just chopped it in two down the center front...

...then I cut up one of the Man's old black t-shirts (it was in the rag bag already)...to make two small strips to enclose the raw edges...

...and then I got out some hooks and eyes that have been in my sewing box for 20+ years...no idea what 'project' they were even purchased for...

...there are black and silver ones in the little box...so I got out five black hooks and five black eyes...

...just lined them up evenly...

...and stitched them in place...

...and now it closes up nicely without any struggle...

...and here I am at the gym wearing it...haha...
