...and the movie was Yentl...another older film that I'd never seen...starring Barbara Streisand in the titular roll...she plays a young woman who was secretly taught the Talmud by her father...which is forbidden for girls for some unknow reason...and after he dies she disguises herself as a boy to continue studying the Talmud...so...it's a another movie about some people...

Hey, you might have seen that we’re finishing up the series Twin Peaks. I don’t even know why we’re continuing to watch it, it is absolutely awful and weird and bizarre. I guess I understand that some oddball people really enjoyed it for its zany-ness. We are also watching the series, Rome. That is very well done, wish I knew more about Roman history, though! Love,K
