...2.13...Friday Update...

...I continue to have blogger issues...it's so frustrating...but after multiple tries and logging in and out a few times...along with a reboot...I'm usually able to succeed...

...it also affects my ability to publish comments...so that's why you're not seeing my comments on your blogs...

...in other news we went to a program at the public library...I do love the library...this one was about the Olympics...I browsed a couple of vegan recipes while I was waiting for the program to begin...

...and it was good and informative...

...and then they segued into a little program about Italy and Italian food...

...and then they brought out fresh basil, tomatoes, skewers and mozzarella...

...and we all made little Caprese salad skewers...mine of course just had tomatoes and basil and a sprinkling of balsamic vinegar...still pretty delicious and it was all good fun...

...and the weather has been so mild...highs near 60° F - 15° C...that I got out the cushion that I'd found on the side of the road a while ago...and gave it a good scrub...

...and then hung it over the fence to dry...I'll be setting up the outdoor kitchen soon and wanted to put it on the new bench all nice and clean...

...and the little bulbs that we planted last year are starting to pop up all over the yard...

...they're so cute and cheerful in the still very brown grass...
