...for breakfast I checked a bunch of things off on my Daily Dozen app...haha...blueberries...banana...flaxseeds...dried raisins and cranberries...walnuts, almonds, and a brazil nut...a vegan golden milk shot with turmeric, ashwaganda, cinnamon, and fenugreek...and a bowl of oatmeal...
...all delicious...very filling and satisfying...
...The Daily Dozen is a fun little app that I use sort of randomly...it's a neat little checklist to make sure you're getting all the nutrients...sometimes I use it with cronometer just as a fun way to visualize all the goodness I'm getting from my food...haha...
...the app is from Nutrition Facts.org...and Dr. Greger is a physician, New York Times Best-Selling author, and internationally recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety, and public health issues...he wrote the book How not to die...which is also a documentary.../a>
...and then we did the weekly shopping...
...nothing of note...but I got the very last three boxes of Pumpkin Spice Cheerios for $1.50...they won't be available again until about October...and then they certainly won't be $1.50...and I certainly won't be buying them...haha...
...I put a pound of garbanzos in a big bowl to soak...
...and then we headed out to the yard...we added a layer of peat moss to the cherry tree...
...and the blueberry bush...and we swirled a soaker hose around the base...
...of both the tree and the bush...
...and covered that over with a layer of mulch...
...and now we can just attach the hose and give them a good soak...
...and then we went to our favorite Greek restaurant for a late lunch...they always bring you a basket of the most delicious homemade bread...
...and I got a greek salad without feta and a bowl of kalamata olives to eat with the bread...it was delicious and a nice relaxing lunch...
...and all of these photos are from my bike ride in the afternoon...there are really a lot of small leaves on the trees now...and the pollen is coating everything...
...the sky was amazing...and different in every direction...this is east...
...and west...
...and south...
...and the wisteria is blooming too...
...it will climb and cover everything...fences...bushes and even trees...
...but this time of year it is beautiful and smells divine...
~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!
