...Baby Shower...

...well...y'all already know that we had a Baby Shower over the weekend...
...so I ironed some used tissue paper...a frugal tip I learned from my frugal mama...
...and packed up my gift bag...
...and headed over to the Fellowship Hall...early...
...to put the finishing touches on everything...
...the cake and cupcakes were so pretty...
...isn't that cake adorable...?
...Our Airman was with us in spirit...and on Facetime...the little button on his photo says "Proud Dad"...
...we had these sweet cards for some motherly advice...and a sweet guess about the baby...
...and then The Airman's Wife got busy opening a BUNCH of presents...
...I'll be sharing what was in our gift bag this week...

~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!

  1. It all looks such fun! I wonder what the advice was. When my daughter was born the midwife on the ward gave me this advice. Every few days give your baby a bottle from the fridge, there will come a time when you will need to give the baby a bottle even if feeding it yourself - if unused to a bottle the baby might refuse. Also, you might find yourself in a situation where you can't heat up a bottle and if your baby is used to a cold bottle there will not be a problem. I did this and she was right, the day did come when both of these events happened!
