...Over the Weekend...Mom Visit #2...

...Mom stopped by for her second visit on her big circle relative tour...and this time she got to meet her sweet great granddaughter...
...and we all got to do a little baby gazing...
...this little one is so...so precious...
...sorry I didn't get a before photo of this little project...but Mom is very active in her old High School reunion committee...and they had given her a huge long sleeved tee-shirt with the school logo on it...and she wanted me to make it fit her a little bit better...so I cut it down to size...and then sewed it up again...I had to take the sleeves off and reset them above the stripe...but other than that it was pretty straightforward...and y'all have seen me cut down my freebie shirts numerous times...
...and here you can see that it fits her much better...she's so cute...
...for breakfast...I made vegan buttermilk cinnamon biscuits...
...and some cinnamon icing for them as well...
...they were so yummy...Mom and I both ate a whole one...and then split another one before Church...
...and then speaking of Church...I'm just documenting this here so I don't forget...the Education Committee met and made a few changes when the classes promoted the first week of September...I used to teach the Adult II Sunday Class...in this room...but that class has been combined with Adult I and moved across the hall...I loved teaching this class of older adults and I'll miss it a lot...
...and now I'm teaching the Confirmation aged group (6th-8th grade) in this room upstairs...it's a lot of fun teaching this group as well...
...and finally in other Church news...the new fire pit is finished...just in time for the Halloween party in a few weeks...I can hardly believe it's October already...

~Wishing you a lovely start to your week!
