...12.1...W.I.P. Wednesday...

...you'll be happy to know that if we would have been able to go to Japan...the sweater would have been finished...
...I got out some semi-matching thread...
...and stitched the Sharpie dyed hem-tape along the edge that wants to curl...
...both sides...
...nice and flat...
...side by side...
...and overlapped...
...just a tiny bit of hem-tape leftover...
...buttons marked...
...and they lined up perfectly with the buttonholes...
...but I'll probably always wear it open...
...set in the funny shaped sleeves...
...and seamed it all up...

...F.O. pictures soon...

...what's in your workbasket this week?...

~Have a lovely day!

    Hope they can come soon...
    This sweater is beautiful!
Working on a pullover. Problem with the size of the pattern; the width is perfect but the lenght is smaller ;-( ;-( ;-( It's my first pullover in crochet, so i'm a bit confused ;-(

  2. Way to meet your "deadline," Teresa. Such a shame international visits aren't in the cards, but the sweater will be there when that day finally comes, I'm sure. It is very nice. I'm so impressed by people who knit! Currently I'm making a sewing machine cover for my overlocker, protect it from the dust and cat hair when not in use. I made one last week for my standard machine. I botched the math on the overlocker cover and am making slightly slower than anticipated progress.

    1. Hi Beth,
...yeah...I'm pretty bummed about it...but I'm still hopeful we'll get there next year...that's a good idea to make a fitted cover for the machines...
