...12.8...W.I.P...at Mom's...

...our sweet nephew's pretty party platter got chipped...so we thought we'd do a little super glue repair on it...like the Leaf plate a while back...
...and then Mom has this garden decoration that has got completely faded...and she asked me to repaint it for her...
...first up...matching the paint on the chip...then we had to go to the hardware store for some superglue...
...and I started painting the little statue...
...I'm really happy with how it turned out...I think Mom is too...
...and finally...after slipping on her kitchen rug a couple of times...we decided that it would be much safer if we taped them to the floor...
...they make a special double sided sticky tape for that...
...so now when you come in the back door...
...and when you step on the kitchen rug...they are secure...

...not a single stitch has been knit on the Linen Stitch towel I brought along...but I will...haha...

    1. Hi Beth,
...definitely...I really brought the knitting for the time I'll be spending as a passenger...the Man almost always does all of the driving...and this is a project that I can knit without looking at it...which is really important because I get carsick really easily...
