...2.19...Nutrient Count What I Eat in a Day...in Cronometer...

...I have used Cronometer several times before...I don't do it all that often...but it's fun to plug in everything you eat in a day and see what nutrients you're getting/missing...

...it's important for everyone but maybe especially for a vegan like me...

...if you've never used Cronometer before it's super easy...just go to Cronometer.com and create an account...it's free...
...and then just type in everything you eat...
...and it will give you a little pie chart overview...yesterday I had a bit of a deficit...just because I exercised so much...
...but this is the amazing part...it breaks down everything that you ate into the nutrients...so you can see what you might need more of...or less...

...in my case...with NO supplements...I met all of the targets for my height and weight...except sodium...and rest assured that I ate enough salt to cover that one...I just didn't add it to the diary...I also didn't get enough Omega-6 yesterday (I just didn't use enough oil...haha)...but I usually do...Omega-3 is harder for vegans to get and I get plenty of that from flaxseeds...
...but I got a crazy amount on Folate...so another neat thing is that if you hover over that amount it will show you what foods you at that contributed to the percentage...so I got almost a full days supply of folate from a single bowl of fortified cereal...and then smaller amount from a bunch of other naturally occurring sources...so maybe I'll try to find a bran cereal that's not fortified...since I don't seem to need that to meet the goal...
...and if you hover over the nutrient it will give you some information about that as well...

...anywhoo...I just thought it was fun to look at everything I ate this way...have you ever used Cronometer?...

~Have a lovely day!
