...9.21...Over the Weekend...

...breakfast was vegan scramble, a vegan biscuit, vegan sausage and applesauce...quite substantial...

...then of course we did the weekly shopping...

...nothing much of note...we were out of both olive oil and avocado oil...so that made this a 'spendy' shop...and we're trying the Better Goods version of Plant Based cream cheese...

...so first...let me show you all the stuff I brought back from Mom's...she had a little bag in my bedroom where she had collected things she wanted to give me...

...and inside was a cute bento box...a veggie steamer...a sweet little white summer top...and a rose scented bar of vegan soap...

...the steamer and the bento box...

...and of course we brought back some garden veggies...

...and some nuts and a baggie of leftover Christmas cookies from the freezer...

...and she had potted up some Elephant Ears plants for the Man to plant under our oak tree...

...on the food prep front...we cooked a pound of great northern beans...

...and roasted a small butternut squash...

...then we went outside and planted the Elephant Ears...

...using the drill attachment to make the holes deep enough and soft enough for the new plants...

...and then popped those in the ground and gave them a drink...

...then we picked a few things from the garden...

...and finally the Man got out the power washer to spray out our garbage and recycling bins...we only do this about once a year...

...so while we had all of the equipment out...I washed the dusty patio furniture from the back porch...
