...10.10 Dinner and a Movie...

...Beans and Greens and Cornbread...one of my favorite meals ever...

...and I cooked a nice pot of beans on the back porch...it's still crazy hot here...like almost 90° F today...(32° C)...

...the bean part was super easy as I just got a few of my 'hockey pucks' out of the freezer...

...and made a cake of vegan cornbread...also in the toaster oven outside...

...and the movie was just another episode of Ted Lasso...we're on episode 8 now...so not too much longer on this one...

...and I finished Homegoing pretty quickly...it was good...Penny was right...and I picked up Don Quixote...and it's a massive tome...almost 1000 pages...we read some excerpts from it in a French class at college for some reason as it was written in Spanish of course...I think because Voltaire and Marivaux were heavily influenced by Cervantes...and we were supposed to discuss the similarities...so I'm just getting started on that one...and there was a waiting list for the one copy my library has...and it's doubtful that I'll finish it in two weeks...haha...
