...W.I.A.Y. ...

...I started the day with some lemon water...
...then I made some homemade vegan sausage patties...I'll share the recipe soon...after I get the measurements right...I just threw these together...
...they were so very good...
Breakfast - Tofu Scramble, Vegan Sausage, Vegan biscuit.
...Avocado Sushi for lunch...
...with a salad...tofu and some greens...
...I made a vegan s'more for a snack...just in the broiler...it was just what I wanted...
...dinner was broccoli, tofu and a delicious Vegan Twice Baked Potato...Scout's request...I really should make these more often...he loves them so...I remember them fondly from my childhood too...when Mom would make them...it was always a special dinner...

...what did you eat yesterday?...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. Hello,

I just popped over to give you a HUGE THANK YOU :) you recommended A Far Cry From Kensington by Muriel Spark - I borrowed it from the library and finished it this morning - it was one of the most enjoyable books I have read in a long time, well written, funny, wry, a good plot, it was just so very good.

    Thank you for the recommendation.

  3. We have a 'dried pea' which was very popular before people had freezers and the frozen pea became queen of the vegetables. It is a green pea dried in the same way as beans such as red kidney or borlotti beans. Soaked and cooked, delicious. They make lovely soup, cooked with onions and a stock cube. They don't take long, about 45 minutes. At the end I added collard greens finely chopped for the last five minutes and then seasoned. Delicious!
