...5.30...Dinner and a Movie...

...just leftovers for dinner...so easy and so good...vegan fusilli bake from the freezer...and a big salad with fresh cucumber and tomato from our grocery pickup...with homemade vegan ranch and croutons...and a roll...

...and the movie...The Invention of Lying......it was a cute and funny film about a world where no one (can or knows how to tell) lies...until one of them does...like a lot of Gervais' work it's deeper than it seems on the surface...and we enjoyed it...

...what have you been watching lately?...

~Have a lovely day!

  1. It's been raining again so pasta sounds good about now. I've been craving spaghetti lately. I think the last movie I saw was last weekend. An old B & W movie with Ingrid Bergman called Journey to Italy. I didn't find the story that enticing but the cinematography in B & W was quite lovely and the story was good enough with a good ending. The other movie was a documentary on the actress Hedy Lemarr. It is called Bombshell: The Hedy Lemarr story. It was quite interesting as it seems she was a very intelligent woman who was an inventor on 'the side' and the Blue Tooth, Wi-Fi and related inventions stem from some of her inventions (according to the documentary). Have a wonderful weekend.

    I'm watching "Unbelievable" on Netflix.
No words to describe... specially on these days.

  4. The other evening my husband and I watched The Invention of Lying, my suggestion for our viewing after reading your blog. We both enjoyed it, thought it was on the corny side, but watchable.
Ricky Gervais (sp) is an atheist, and I really wondered if the way he presented the story in the film is the way he truly feels about religion?? Who knows.
