...1.10...Friday Update...

...in preparation for the winter weather we're supposed to get (a relatively rare occurrence here)...we got out our little generator...

...we're supposed to get mostly freezing rain and sleet...so the power might go off...and we'll be able to keep our fridge/freezer running...a couple of lights and a heater...so we should be pretty cozy...

...and just finishing up a couple of really minor little things in the kitchen...the Man had special ordered a white vent cover for the vent underneath the cabinet and it took about 6 weeks to get here...and I had to shave a little bit off of the quarter round and I didn't want to take it back off....so I just used the little door jamb trimmer saw thingy...

...it looks nice...not sure anyone would ever notice it though...tucked under the cabinet it's kind of hard to see...

...and we installed the little wireless under cabinet/over counter led lights...so this is looking up under the overhead cabinets...so I'm pretty happy I went ahead and painted all of that white...they're held in place on a magnetic strip and you just pop them off to charge them...

....the lights can be turned on if you just want extra light to work on the counter...or they have an automatic setting and will come on if it's dark enough and they sense any movement...

...this is what they look like in the dark...if you come into the room...they automatically come on and they stay on for 20 seconds after they sense no motion...the charge is supposed to last a month...so I'll put it on my list of the first-of-the-month chores to recharge all of the lights...
