...I hitched a ride with my sweet sissie and her sweet hubbie on their way up the mountain early Sunday morning and Scout and the Man came right after Church...
...both the funeral and the graveside service were so sweet and meaningful...
...there was so much visiting with cousins ('cousining' as Scout used to call it when he was little)...it's always so good to immerse oneself in family...
...then there was the usual mild chaos of a family visit at home...
...with lots of vegan food...
...and some refreshing pool time...
...Mom...sissie and me (still wet from the pool)...
...and all too soon...it was time to head back home...traffic wasn't too bad for this holiday travel day...
...I was trying to get a photo of the mountains...and thought that the reflection of the knitting in my lap was funny...
...I did snap a hazy summer photo of the mountains for the summer blog header...but decided to go with the view from Mom's porch instead...
